Honor your loved ones

Lake Charles Park Cemetery & Mausoleum was established in 1922, and is a classic beauty that is unique among area cemeteries. A breathtaking, three-story monumental Beaux Arts Classical gatehouse made of Bedford stone and designed by Gabriel Ferrand stands at the entrance.

At our park, you can let loved ones rest in a beautiful space where they won't be forgotten. There are many services and memorials to commemorate their site.

Facilities

Lake Charles’ 98 acres spread along St. Charles Rock Road, the old rock road to St. Charles, and was designed, surveyed, and subdivided by landscape engineers at Joyce Surveying Company Cemetery Engineers of St. Louis, Missouri. The cemetery’s original name was Lake Charles Burial Park; later, the name was changed to Lake Charles Memorial Park, and the current family owners took the “new” name, Lake Charles Park Cemetery, from the front of the gatehouse.
